Model APIs Updates

New Features

  • New Models: The GLM-4-0414 Series and the Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct Model

As early as March this year, Zhipu AI had announced plans to open source new GLM models in mid-April, and true to their word, the GLM-4-0414 series was launched on schedule. The newly open-sourced models cover three categories: foundation, reasoning, and reflection. According to official data, some models in this series can rival OpenAI’s GPT-4o and DeepSeek’s V3/R1 series in performance.

As a one-stop AIGC cloud service platform, Novita promptly launched the above models along with a limited-time free version of the Qwen2.5-7B-Instruct model. Novita also carried out full-chain optimization on the models, significantly reducing inference latency while maintaining the original model accuracy. Developers can efficiently access and utilize these models through API interfaces.

GPUs Updates

Improvements

  • Optimized Storage Architecture for GPU Container Instances

To address the overlap between system disks and local disks, we have updated the instance storage policy. Effective immediately, the option to configure a local disk for new instances has been discontinued. Instances and templates that have already been created with local disk settings will remain unaffected.

Following these changes, instances now support system disk expansion. For instances that have existing local disks, users can now unmount or resize the local disk space. When local storage is unmounted, all associated data will be automatically migrated to the system disk to ensure data continuity.
For more details, please refer to the Instance Management page.
