Novita Agent Sandbox will release a new SDK / CLI version and update the default cluster used by the official documentation starting June 7, 2026 UTC. The new SDK / CLI is not fully compatible with older versions. If you are using Sandbox in production, please avoid automatic upgrades and complete compatibility checks before upgrading. This notice is intended to help existing users prepare in advance. The new cluster information and full migration guide will be provided in the official release announcement.

If you do not plan to upgrade for now

To avoid unexpected impact on your existing Sandbox workloads, we recommend that you:
  1. Pin your current SDK / CLI version.
  2. Avoid automatic dependency upgrades.
  3. Explicitly configure the current Sandbox domain through the SDK / CLI configuration or by setting the NOVITA_DOMAIN environment variable. For domain configuration, use sandbox.novita.ai.
  4. Review any production automation scripts that depend on SDK / CLI behavior, and avoid switching to the new version before completing compatibility validation.

If you plan to upgrade after the release

Please wait for the official release announcement and migration guide. Before upgrading production workloads, we recommend testing in a staging environment and reviewing resource, API, CLI, network, and runtime compatibility. If needed, our team can help review your current integration and provide upgrade guidance.
